Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. Depending on the treatment and lifestyle factors, lip tattooing can last anywhere from 2-5 years. The pigment will fade naturally and lighten over this time.
